The Evacuee Trust Property Board(ETPB) on Monday sealed former innards minister and Awami Muslim League(AML) principal Sheikh Rashid's Lal Haveli hearthstone in Rawalpindi over" illegal occupation".
According to ETPB Deputy Commissioner Asif Khan, after brigades from the board and the Federal Investigation Agency( FIA) arrived at the scene beforehand this morning, two units of the Lal Haveli and five touching units were sealed.
Rashid's power over these Lal Haveli units, according to Khan, had been abandoned due to illegal land occupation. Rashid and his family had also entered several notices in this regard, he added.
The former innards minister and Awami Muslim League( AML) principal Sheikh Rashid has claimed that his Lal Haveli hearthstone in Rawalpindi was fully “ sealed ” by authorities in the early hours of Monday.
“ After the Ranger Corps refused, they sealed the Lal Haveli with the help of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the police, ” Sheikh Rashid Ahmed twittered.
